Orders fulfilment
The provision of goods and services is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability of products pre-paid for, Tropical Engros AG shall issue a full refund within 30 days. Cancellation of pre-paid for orders by any customer will incur a 10% cancellation fee for rearrangements and administration costs.

The law in Switzerland prohibits the sale of alcohol to underage clients, 16 years of age for beer, and 18 years of age for wine. For all order containing alcohol products, the client is confirming to be over 18 years of age.

Tropical Engros reserves the right to cancel any order for which payment has been received in full, for insufficient stock levels, for quality standard reasons, or for any other unspecified reasons. The client will receive a full refund under such circumstances.

Products standard and quality
Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the product received should be addressed to Tropical Engros AG at info@tropicalengros.ch.

Delivery
Goods are delivered across Switzerland by Tropical Engros’ inhouse delivery service. Exceptionally, small orders and those from remote areas may be dispatched through the post.

Orders of a total value of over CHF 500 are delivered free of charge to the customers business address. Orders totalling a lower amount will incur additional delivery charges. Orders delivered by postal services, or to areas our inhouse delivery drivers do not cover, or those to private addresses will also attract cost-covering delivery charges.

Signing for Deliveries
Signing for a delivery is the proof of acceptance of the delivered goods by the customer. Whenever possible, the person receiving the product must sign the receiving documents presented by the driver. The person receiving the delivery should inspect the items before signing for it.

Tropical Engros recognises the customer’s right to refuse a delivery partially or in its entirety when valid reasons can be advanced.

Inspecting a Shipment
The customer has the duty to check the delivery for wrong, missing, or damaged items, and inform the delivery driver immediately, so that a reclamation process can be initiated. For orders paid for upon delivery, this process should be carried out before the payment being made by the client. For all damaged, non-compliant or unacceptable products noticed after the initial checks on delivery, these must be fully documented (pictures etc..), and Tropical Engros notified at the earliest opportunity, within the 7 days following the initial delivery.

Deliveries inspections should verify the following conditions:
  • The products conform to the purchase order requirements and other relevant documents (for example: correct order number, description of products, labels, packaging, colours, etc.)

  • The quantities ordered against the quantities delivered.

  • There are no wrong deliveries, damages, or defects.

  • The unit of measurement count is correct (e.g. if the unit of measurement on the purchase order is one box, there should be 1 box and not 1 single unit).

  • Delivery documentation (packing list, certifications, etc.) is acceptable.

  • Perishable items are in good condition and expiration dates have not been exceeded.
